Spanish cuisine is delicious. It is healthy, tasty and diverse. Hours designated for meals are sacred. For example, you cannot phone any home at 3 p.m. or something like that. Phoning at this hour is not polite, because it is dinner time. This is what concerns cities. As to rural regions, they are even stricter in observing each tradition, including meals, of course.

Thirty minutes before dinner, is the time for aperitif, which may be rather diverse and plentiful, depending on people´s taste. Dinner is also a meal for good eaters. Many divers dishes are cooked for dinner: salads, meat, fish, seafood, wine of course, and various desserts to finish your meal with. In some three hours merienda comes: pastry of various types, milk, juice or tea. Supper is held at night, if it is very hot, it may take place at 9 or even 10 p.m. The variety of dishes cannot be imagined and described.
